New HYBL Website Registration

Attention HYBL Members:

We have moved to a new HYBL website on the SportsEngine platform since our LeagueAthletics site will be shut down in late 2023.

In an effort to serve you better and to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information, you will be asked to enter all of your demographic information for parents/guardians and players again on our new site.

Thank you for your patience during this more robust registration process and while we put the last-minute finishing touches on our new website!

Fall/Winter 2023-2024 Registration Details

Hanover Youth Basketball League is pleased to announce that registration for the Fall/Winter 2023-2024 season is open!   Please review our Fall/Winter 2023-2024 Season Information below and click the "Register Winter 2023-2024 Grades Registration Grades Pre-K-12" below.

It's time to start working with your players on their Kyrie Killa crossovers, Steph step-backs, Harden heat checks, Lebron layups, Jordan pull-up jumpers, Magic show-time passes, Dr. J. baseline scoops, Kareem skyhooks, Lisa Leslie's reverse pivot, and especially their Big Ben lockdown defense!

Hanover Youth Basketball League is designed to introduce young (beginner) players to the sport while enhancing and fine-tuning the skills of more experienced players. Your child will learn the fundamentals of basketball with age-appropriate skills, drills, and game-play rules.  Our League is set up such as to help build confidence and ability as the season progresses. Your player will improve their understanding of the sport, shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

  • Age-appropriate instruction emphasizes fun, skills improvement, and gameplay.
  • All skill levels are welcome – players in 2nd-12th grade are evaluated and drafted in an attempt to balance each team.
  • Everyone plays at least half of every game.
  • No fundraisers.
  • Virginia High School League (VHSL) trained officials at every game (2nd-12th Grade)
