HYBL Summer 2022 Season Registration (CURRENT Grades 2-12)
We are offering a summer schedule with Saturdays & Sundays only this summer. See below for more information:
Register for the HYBL Summer 2022 Season for players in Grades Pre-K-CoEd 1st (CURRENT 2021-2022 School Year Grade, not rising grade). You must register and pay by credit card online to sign up for the season. After Registering your player you will be routed to a screen to complete your payment with a green "Pay Now" button. If you do not see this button, you may need to login on a different device or a PC to complete the payment. Our secure online credit card payment is the required method of payment. Checks will not be accepted during the online registration period. Registration Details:
Summer 2022 Season Information
Registration Fees (CURRENT 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR GRADE):
2nd-12th Grade Early Bird Registration Fee: $80 per player (through 5/15/22)
2nd-12th Grade Base Registration Fee: $100 per player (through 6/1/22)
2nd-12th Grade Late Registration Fee: $115 per player (starting 6/2/22 if spots are available)
Sibling Discount: $10 for 2nd child; $15 for 3rd or 4th child
Late Registrations: We may be able to accept a limited amount of late registrations for some divisions. Please use the Feedback link after 6/1 to let us know what grade your player is in and we will respond with instructions for online registrations.
Player Evaluations: TBD (Most likely June 5)
Team Creation / Drafts: June 4-15
Schedule: June 18, 2022 - August 7, 2022
Dates may be subject to change considering extenuating circumstances
League games and practices for most divisions will be scheduled on weekends. Saturday morning through evening, or Sunday late morning/ early afternoon through evening. Some divisions will play on weeknights (Monday-Thursday).
Depending on registration numbers and facilities needs this is also subject to change
Eligibility: Boys and Girls Players in 2nd-12th Grade
Hanover County Virginia and non-Hanover County residents are welcome
Players are grouped into Divisions by current grades as of the 2021-2022 school year
Players with conflicts are welcome, but please advise us of potential conflicts during registration
COVID-19 Safety Protocols: Please understand that it is HYBL's goal to host a complete season and adhere to safety measures that give us the best chance at success in completing a season and minimizing risk for all parties. We ask that all HYBL parents, players, coaches, and officials be flexible and adaptable and offer patience and grace in light of dealing with this global pandemic. As a result, the HYBL Board has set the following requirements:
Subject to local guidance of vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated persons, we may need to require all coaches, officials, and spectators to wear mask or face shield at all times in our facility.
Subject to local guidance, we may need to require that players have masks on to enter and exit the facility and when not on the court.
Subject to the local guidance, we may need to limit attendance at games and practices for spectators.
We will allow each team to have 2 coaches, but the scorekeeper must be an accompanying spectator if not provided by HYBL.
We ask that teams leave promptly after their event and a quick team huddle. All events should wrap up after 55 minutes.
Players may bring their own ball to practices, but should NOT bring them to games as HYBL and/or Coaches should bring "Game Balls".
If you are sick or your player is sick, please don't come to the gym.
Anyone in quarantine shouldn't attend HYBL events during the quarantine.
We may implement additional safety and cleaning measures consisting of appropriate best practices and standards per guidance.

Primary Location: Big Ben's Home Court (Richmond, VA) - Safe location near Top Golf!
Alternate Location(s): Mechanicsville High School or other schools/gyms in or around Hanover County.
