The Basketball Tournament returns to the Siegel Center on July 26-28! The Richmond bracket will host our Ram Nation squad, which features assistant coach Eric Maynor; former VCU stars Darius Theus, Brandon Rozzell and JeQuan Lewis; and former NBA player Reggie Williams. 

If you are not familiar with TBT, it is a 64 team basketball tournament with a prize of 2 Million Dollars. In the Richmond region, we will see teams starring alumni from VCU, Richmond, West Virginia, UMBC, ODU and George Mason, plus the defending champion Overseas Elite.

HYBL Day at Dick's Sporting Goods

On Saturday, June 8th at the Virginia Center Commons, Glen Allen, Dick’s Sporting Goods store location will be hosting its summer season appreciation discount day to assist families and players with preparing for their upcoming basketball season.

Any Hanover Youth Basketball League participant can bring in the attached appreciation day flyer to receive 20% off your purchase (some exclusions apply) on Saturday, June 8th.  This is a great opportunity to not only get your basketball gear but to also take care of any other purchasing needs you may have as summer approaches!

If you are unable to make it to the appreciation day event please remember that you can click this link -  Hanover Youth Basketball League 2018-2019 DSG Coupon - to print out your basketball team sports coupon sheet, which is good for discounts off your basketball purchases (as listed on the coupon) all season long. You will not be able to use the basketball coupon in addition to the appreciation day coupon on the appreciation day.

Atlee High School Coed Basketball Camp

  • Boys and Girls Ages 9-15
  • Free Camp T-shirt
  • We have had many girls participate in this camp, but there is no separate division set up for girls. The girls do participate with boys in all aspects of camp
  • Camp snack bar open during breaks for snacks and drinks
  • 4 full courts (4 courts in air conditioned gym and 2 courts outside)
  • Complete lunches can be bought at camp store if camper decides not to bring one

Mike Rhoades Basketball Camps at VCU

  • Campers are broken down by age groups and abilities and open to boys and girls
  • Grade levels vary by camp session
  • Camp teaches the basic fundamentals of basketball with positive and enthusiastic coaches
  • Campers will learn about shooting, ball handling, defense, and passing the basketball
  • Camp will include lunch each day, games, and contests

Session 1: June 17-21, 2019 (9 - 5 pm). Rising 2nd-12th Grade.  Cost: $325.

Randolph-Macon College Basketball Camp

Attention Boys and Girls 2nd-11th Grade:

RMC Summer Basketball Camp registration is now open!  We are offering 3 different sessions on the campus of Randolph-Macon College under the direction of Head Coach Josh Merkel and his team.  RMC finished 27-4 in 2019 and has a great staff of teachers.  Campers will have a great time, eating in cafeteria, building relationships, 4 games daily, contests, and a great deal of teaching and learning the game!
